Home | news | STEPGATES FIELD UPDATE! (Formerly Tulk Field)

We are delighted to announce that thanks to the efforts of governor John Gillard who applied to The Woodland Trust for a  free Tree Pack, we have received our pack containing 30 sapling hedging plants.

These will be planted in Stepgates Field (formerly Tulk Field) along the front edge to provide a natural hedge and border. We will be playing our part in welcoming the local wildlife. Mammals, insects and birds all love the shrubs in this hedge pack and we will be helping hedgehogs and dormice stay on the move.

The Woodland Trust wants to make sure that everybody in the UK has the chance to plant a tree. So they’re giving away hundreds of thousands of trees to schools and communities. All you need to do is apply.

Exciting times in school!
