Kites at Forest Schools- Autumn 2020
Kites were ready to head back to the forest for the 2nd part of the Half Term. Kites are now the most experienced children when it comes to Forest Schools, so they were ready for some extra challenges!
The last set of sessions saw them take down some branches of a fallen Chestnut tree, move the whole site by hand, build rope swings and put up hammocks. This time round, the children had clear ideas about what they wanted to achieve; this included, Ninja Squirrel championships, some lovely natural art work and a group returned to take down the rest of the tree! We also had some keen wildlife photographers in the group who enjoyed looking for Fungi around the site - the pictures they have captured are great!
The group continued to show resilience, creativity, courage and strength throughout the sessions - I was so impressed with them!
